How to brand your chat widget with your agency name
📝 Put your agency's name on a connected company's chat widget so the footer reads "Powered by [Your Agency Name]."
Table of contents
Overview
If you manage a client's account through an agency account, you can replace the default widget branding with your own agency name. Once it's set, the chat widget footer on the connected company's site will read "Powered by [Your Agency Name]" — for example, "Powered by My Company."
This is set from your agency account, not the individual company account.
Before you start
Branding depends on two things being in place first, in this order:
- You have an agency account. This is the agency portal at agency.leadtruffle.com. You'll sign in here to manage companies and branding.
- The company is connected to your agency account. Branding only applies to companies linked to your agency. To connect one:
- Already have a LeadTruffle account for the company? See Add an existing LeadTruffle account to an Agency account.
- Setting up a brand-new account for the client? See Create a new LeadTruffle account from the Agency portal.
Turn on your agency branding
- Log in to your agency account at agency.leadtruffle.com.
- Go to Settings.
- Find the White Label Chat Widget option and toggle it on. With this on, the widget shows your agency name as the branding.

- Set your Agency Name to the brand you want shown — for example,
My Company.

- Click Save.
What the widget will show
The connected company's chat widget footer will now read "Powered by [Agency Name]." So an Agency Name of Ecotech PRO produces "Powered by My Company."
Troubleshooting
- Branding isn't applying. Confirm the company is connected to your agency account and appears in your Companies list before troubleshooting branding.
- You can't find the toggle. The White Label Chat Widget option lives at the agency level under Settings — not in the individual company account.
- Changes aren't showing on the live widget. Refresh the live site. A hard refresh or cache clear usually does it.
