# How to connect Networx to LeadTruffle for automated lead response

## Overview

Networx sends leads into LeadTruffle through a **custom webhook**. Once connected, every new Networx lead is created automatically in LeadTruffle, appears in your Conversations Inbox, and gets an instant AI response — the same way your other lead sources work.

The setup has two sides:

* **LeadTruffle** gives you two things: a **webhook URL** and an **API key**.
* **Networx** is where you paste those two things to point your leads at LeadTruffle.

This guide walks through both.

## Before you start

You'll need:

* A **Networx account** with access to the Integration settings
* Your LeadTruffle **webhook URL** and **API key** (see Step 1)

|| During onboarding, your LeadTruffle contact will usually generate the webhook URL and API key for you and share them in the call chat or by email — so you may already have them.

## Step 1: Get your webhook URL and API key from LeadTruffle

LeadTruffle creates a dedicated webhook URL and API key for your Networx lead source.

* If you're onboarding with our team, we'll generate both and send them to you.
* If you're setting this up on your own, request them through the **in-app chat** in the lower-right corner and we'll get them to you.

Keep both handy — you'll paste them into Networx in the next step.

| Tip: Copy the full webhook URL and API key exactly as provided. Extra spaces at the start or end are the most common cause of a failed connection.

## Step 2: Add LeadTruffle as a custom webhook in Networx

In your Networx account:

1. In the left menu, go to **Integration**.
2. Select **CRM to connect to**.
3. Choose **Custom Webhook**.
4. Click **Add to CRM**.
5. Paste your LeadTruffle **webhook URL** into the **Webhook URL** field.
6. Paste your LeadTruffle **API key** into the **API Key** field.
7. Click **Save**.

||| Make sure you click **Save**. If you leave the page without saving, the connection won't stick and no leads will come through.

## Step 3: Confirm leads are flowing in

Once saved, Networx will start posting new leads to LeadTruffle automatically.

* Open the **Conversations Inbox** — new Networx leads will appear here alongside your other sources.
* When a lead comes in, the AI sends its first message right away, just like your Thumbtack, Yelp, or LSA leads.
* You can filter the inbox by source at any time to see only your Networx leads.

If you have a test or live lead available, submit one through Networx and confirm it shows up in your inbox within a minute or two.

## Troubleshooting

**Leads aren't appearing in LeadTruffle**

* Double-check the **webhook URL** and **API key** were pasted with no extra spaces before or after.
* Confirm you clicked **Save** in Networx after adding the custom webhook.
* Make sure you selected **Custom Webhook** (not another CRM option) under *CRM to connect to*.
