How to Install LeadTruffle Website Widgets

Overview

LeadTruffle offers three website widgets to help you capture visitor name and phone number, then immediately start an AI-powered text conversation to qualify and book them.

The three widget types are:

  1. Website Texting Widget (chat-style)
  2. Popup Widget
  3. Lead Form Embed

⚡️Not sure how to install custom code on your CMS? Check out our list of instructions here.

  • Appears as a chat-style widget in the bottom-right corner.
  • Captures name and phone number only (not a full chat).
  • Instantly starts AI text follow-up

How to install:

  1. Copy the code snippet provided inside your LeadTruffle dashboard.
  2. Paste it into your website editor (Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, etc.) under custom code / snippets.
  3. The widget will auto-position in the lower-right corner (can be moved to bottom-left if desired).

👉 Tip: If you have a developer or agency, you can simply email them the installation instructions directly from LeadTruffle.

2. Popup Widget

  • Pops up on your site to grab attention.
  • Options include:

  • Exit intent (shows when a visitor is about to leave).
  • Timed trigger (after X seconds on site).
  • Fully customizable: text, offer, colors, images.

Installation:

  • Same as the Website Texting Widget — copy/paste the snippet OR email instructions to your developer.
  • Will auto-load in the correct position (no extra setup needed).

3. Lead Form Embed

  • A simplified inline form that only asks for name + phone number.
  • Great alternative to long traditional forms.
  • Automatically includes tracking & analytics:

  • Source of the lead
  • Page where the form was submitted

Installation:

  1. Copy the longer code snippet provided.
  2. Paste into the exact spot you want the form to appear on your website.

  • Unlike the first two widgets, you must position this one manually.
  1. Or email the code to your web developer.

Best Practices

  • Start with the Website Texting Widget (bread and butter).
  • Add Popup Widget for higher engagement.
  • Use the Lead Form Embed where a traditional form would normally be placed.
  • The more widgets you use, the more lead submissions you’ll capture → leading to more paying customers.
