How to Set Up SMS Follow-Ups in LeadTruffle
Why Use Follow-Ups?
Not every lead replies right away. Some may miss the initial message or stop responding mid-conversation. With Follow-Ups, LeadTruffle automatically sends personalized SMS messages after a set delay, helping you bring those leads back into the conversation.
How to Set Up Website SMS Follow-Ups
- Go to the Follow-Ups Tab
- Log into your LeadTruffle dashboard.
- Navigate to Website SMS → Follow-Ups (last tab).
Create a New Schedule
- Click New Schedule.
- Choose which AI agents the follow-up will apply to.
- Works on both Website Texting and Missed Call Text-Back.
Set Your Delay
- Choose if you want follow ups on Missed Call and /or Website Texting
- Pick how long LeadTruffle should wait before sending a follow-up.
- Options: 30 minutes up to 24 hours.
- Recommended starting point: 3 hours (set hours = 3, minutes = 0).
- Save Your Schedule
- Click Create Schedule to save.
- You can add multiple schedules if you’d like different follow-up times.
- AI Handles the Rest
- If a lead doesn’t reply, the AI will review the conversation and send a relevant, personalized follow-up automatically.

- Requires 10DLC phone number → available on the Expert Plan.
