LeadTruffle offers both email and SMS notifications to help you and your team stay on top of new leads, conversation milestones, and account activity.

Notifies you when a lead texts your LeadTruffle phone number first (typically a 10DLC number).

New API Lead Submission

Alerts you when a new lead is submitted through the LeadTruffle API.

New Yelp Lead Submission

Notifies you when a new lead is received from Yelp.

New Angi Lead Submission

Notifies you when a new lead is received from Angi.

New Thumbtack Lead Submission

Notifies you when a new lead is received from Thumbtack.

New AI Handled Call

Alert when the AI handles an inbound call and begins qualification.

Conversation Complete (Missed Call)

Email alert when a missed call conversation has ended.

Conversation Complete (Chat Widget / Webchat)

Email alert when a website texting widget conversation has ended.

Conversation Complete (Yelp Lead)

Email alert when a Yelp lead conversation has ended.

Conversation Complete (Thumbtack Lead)

Email alert when a Thumbtack lead conversation has ended.

Conversation Complete (Email Qualification)

Email alert when an email-based qualification conversation has ended. This includes Google LSA specific notifications.

Client Ready to Book

Notifies you when the AI detects that a lead has indicated they are ready to book services.

New Lead quit responding for 5+ minutes

Alerts you if a lead stops responding during an active conversation for more than 5 minutes.

Manual Reply Alert

Notifies you when a human should step in to manually reply to a lead.

Lead Assigned to You

Alerts you when another user assigns a lead to you.

Lead Auto-Assigned to You

Alerts you when a lead routing rule automatically assigns a lead to you.

General Account Notifications

Email-only updates about account activity and changes.


⚠️ SMS notifications are limited to new leads only (missed calls and chat submissions). All other types are sent via email.


📌 When is a “Conversation Complete” Notification Sent?


“Conversation Complete” notifications (for both missed calls and chat widget conversations) are triggered when either of the following conditions is met:


  1. The AI has gathered all the key qualification data outlined in your prompt.
  2. OR 20 minutes have passed since the conversation began


This ensures you’re notified at a meaningful endpoint in the conversation - either when the lead is fully qualified or the chat naturally wraps up over time.


🛠️ How to Set Up Notifications in LeadTruffle


To start receiving notifications, follow these simple steps:


📧 For Email Notifications:


  1. Go to the Notifications tab in your LeadTruffle dashboard.
  2. Click Add Email Notification.
  3. Enter the email address where you want to receive notifications.
  4. (Optional) Add a Subscription Name to help identify why you set it up (e.g., “Sales Team Alerts”).
  5. Select the notification types you’d like to receive.
  6. Click Add Subscription to save.


📲 For SMS Notifications:


  1. In the Notifications tab, click Add SMS Notification.
  2. Enter the phone number that should receive SMS alerts.
  3. (Optional) Add a Subscription Name for easy reference.
  4. Choose the notification types you want to receive via text.
  5. Click Add Subscription.


That’s it! Notifications will now be delivered based on your selected preferences.
