How to set up missed call forwarding on T-Mobile & Mint Mobile

🚨 T-Mobile and Mint Mobile use the same network and infrastructure, so these call forwarding instructions work for both carriers.

What It Is & Why It Matters

Missed Call Forwarding (also called conditional call forwarding) means your phone will ring like normal, but if you don’t answer—whether you’re busy, unavailable, or miss the call—it will automatically forward to your LeadTruffle AI number.

This ensures:

  • No lead gets ignored or lost
  • Your AI assistant can instantly follow up via text or voice
  • You stay responsive without needing to always answer the phone

It’s a simple, powerful way to boost lead conversion and never let a missed call go cold.

⚠️ Important: Before setting up call forwarding, please turn off Live Voicemail on your iPhone. This feature can interfere with missed call forwarding.

How to Turn Off Live Voicemail on iPhone:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Phone
  3. Tap Live Voicemail
  4. Toggle Off

How to Set Up Missed Call Forwarding

This will forward only unanswered calls to your LeadTruffle AI number.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open your Phone app (like you’re making a regular call).
  2. Dial the following code, replacing the number with your unique LeadTruffle number from your account: _61*1[YourLeadTruffleNumber]#_**

  1. Example: *6118888908583#
  2. Press the Call button.
  3. You’ll see a confirmation that call forwarding is active.

🔁 Note: Every LeadTruffle user has a different number.

Log into your account and copy the number listed under “Missed Call Forwarding”.

Optional: Adjust Ring Time Before Forwarding

You can set a specific amount of time the phone rings before forwarding.

We recommend setting the ring time to 20 to 25 seconds—this gives you a few rings to answer, but still ensures the AI can jump in quickly if you’re unavailable.

By default, T-Mobile forwards unanswered calls after about 20 seconds. You can customize this delay to anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds, depending on how long you want your phone to ring before forwarding to LeadTruffle.

🛎️Every 5 seconds is roughly equal to one ring.

So, if you want your phone to ring twice before forwarding, set the delay to 10 seconds.

To do that, add _10_** between your LeadTruffle number and the final # in the forwarding code.

For example: 61*1[YourLeadTruffleNumber]10#

Then press Call.

You’ll see a confirmation on your screen that the new delay has been set.

How to Turn Off Missed Call Forwarding

If you want to go back to your regular voicemail or stop forwarding altogether:

  1. Open the Phone app

  1. Dial: ##61#

  1. Press Call

You’ll see a confirmation that forwarding has been disabled.
