Overview

LeadTruffle is an AI-powered SMS and chat-based lead capture platform built for home service businesses. With our Zapier integration, you can automatically send leads from LeadTruffle to DripJobs CRM - no manual data entry required.

What You’ll Need

• A LeadTruffle account
• A DripJobs account
• A Zapier account (free or paid)

Step 1: Access the Zapier Integration in LeadTruffle

1. Log into your LeadTruffle dashboard
2. Click Website Texting in the left sidebar
3. Select Integrations in the center panel
4. Click Connect with Zapier
5. Accept the invite to our private Zapier app

Step 2: Create a New Zap in Zapier

1. In Zapier, click Create a Zap
2. Set LeadTruffle as your trigger app
3. Choose a trigger event:

• New Chat Widget Lead
• New Missed Call

4. Click Continue and connect your LeadTruffle account

Step 3: Get Your LeadTruffle API Key

1. In the LeadTruffle dashboard, click Get API Key
2. Create a new key (e.g., “Zapier - DripJobs”)
3. Click Copy and paste the key into the Zapier authentication window
4. Click Continue in Zapier

Step 4: Connect Your DripJobs Account

1. Set DripJobs as your action app in the Zap
2. Choose an action (e.g., Create Lead or Create Appointment)
3. Sign in and get your DripJobs API key:

• Go to Settings → Company Settings → Integrations
• Copy the API Key

4. Paste the API key into Zapier

Step 5: Map LeadTruffle Data to DripJobs

• Source → “LeadTruffle” or the widget type
• First Name → First Name
• Last Name → Last Name
• Phone Number → Phone
• Email → If your AI isn’t capturing emails, use a dummy (e.g., [email protected])
• Optional: Address, Notes, or any additional info your AI is trained to collect

⚠️ DripJobs requires an email. If your AI doesn’t collect it, add a fallback dummy email to avoid errors.

Step 6: Test and Activate the Zap

1. Click Test Trigger in Zapier to pull in a recent LeadTruffle lead
2. Confirm the data looks correct
3. Click Continue and then Turn on Zap

You’re done! New leads captured by LeadTruffle will now be automatically added to DripJobs.

Troubleshooting Tips

• Double-check your API keys are correct
• Make sure the lead has been fully qualified by the AI before testing
• Ensure required fields (like email in DripJobs) are mapped or given a fallback value
