Introduction
LeadTruffle is an AI-powered SMS and chat-based lead generation platform that helps businesses capture and qualify leads from website forms and missed calls.
By integrating LeadTruffle with Zapier, you can connect with over 8,000 apps, making it easy to automate workflows and send lead data to CRMs, email marketing tools, and other business applications.
Step 1: Accessing Zapier integration in LeadTruffle
- Log in to your LeadTruffle dashboard.
- Log in to or create your Zapier account.
- Go to Connections in the left sidebar.
- Click Zapier / Webhooks.
- Locate the Zapier Integration section at the top.
- Click Connect with Zapier to proceed.

Step 2: Accepting the Zapier invite
- Clicking the Zapier integration link will direct you to the Zapier private application invite.
- If LeadTruffle has a public Zapier app by the time you follow these steps, you may not need an invite.
- Click Accept Invitation & Build a Zap to add LeadTruffle as an available app in your Zapier account.
Step 3: Creating a Zap to automate lead management
- In Zapier, click Create a Zap.
- Search for LeadTruffle and select it as your trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event.
- Click Continue.
Step 4: Connecting LeadTruffle to Zapier
- Click Sign In to connect your LeadTruffle account.
- A pop-up will appear asking for an API key.

- Go back to your LeadTruffle dashboard and click Get API Key.

- Generate a new API key and name it (e.g., "Zapier Connection").

- Copy the API key and paste it into Zapier's authentication window.
- Click Continue.
Step 5: Testing the connection
- Click Test Trigger in Zapier to fetch a sample lead from LeadTruffle.
- Review the data fields, including name, phone number, and message.
- If everything looks correct, click Continue.
Step 6: Sending lead data to your CRM or another app
- Choose the app where you want to send lead data (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Select an action event, such as Create a Lead or Create a Customer.
- Connect your CRM account and authenticate as needed.
- Map the fields from LeadTruffle to your CRM fields (e.g., First Name → First Name, Phone Number → Phone Number).
- Click Continue and test the Zap to ensure data flows correctly.
Step 7: Activating your Zap
- Once the test is successful, click Turn on Zap.
- Your automation is now live — LeadTruffle will automatically send lead data to your selected app whenever a new lead is captured.
Did LeadTruffle get disconnected from Zapier?
If your Zap stops working and you see an authentication error, the fix is straightforward.
- Go to app.leadtruffle.com/settings/api-keys.
- Copy your existing API key.
- In Zapier, reconnect your LeadTruffle account and paste the key when prompted.
