Review your LeadTruffle calls and leads with ChatGPT or Claude

📝 Use ChatGPT or Claude to review your LeadTruffle leads and calls and get a plain-English coaching report — no coding needed.

Overview


You don't need to know how to code to review your LeadTruffle calls and leads. ChatGPT or Claude can do it for you.


Here's the whole process:


  1. Open the right app.
  2. Copy your LeadTruffle API key.
  3. Paste one message.


That's it. In a few minutes you'll have a plain-English report on which calls went well, which leads slipped away, and who to follow up with first.



Step 1: Open ChatGPT or Claude


Use whichever assistant you already have — you only need one.


If you use ChatGPT


  1. Download the ChatGPT app if you don't have it.
  2. Open the ChatGPT app on your computer.
  3. Click Work at the top.
  4. Choose Work locally.
  5. If it asks you to choose a folder, create a new folder called LeadTruffle Reports and select it.
    1. You can also optionally create a new "project" called LeadTruffle reports.


Don't use regular Chat mode — it can't run the review for you. You need Work → Work locally.



If you use Claude


  1. Download the Claude app if you don't have it.
  2. Open Claude on your computer.
  3. Click Code at the top.
  4. Choose Local.
  5. Click Select folder.
  6. Create a new folder called LeadTruffle Reports and select it.


Don't use regular Chat mode — it can't run the review for you. You need Code → Local.





Step 2: Copy your LeadTruffle API key


  1. Open LeadTruffle API keys.
  2. Click the button to create a new API key.
  3. Name it AI Call Review.
  4. Copy the key.


The key is a long string of random letters and numbers. Copy the whole thing — you'll paste it in the next step.



Step 3: Paste the review request


The box below is a set of instructions for the assistant. You don't need to understand it.


  1. Copy the whole message.
  2. Replace PASTE YOUR KEY HERE with the key you just copied.
  3. Paste the whole message into ChatGPT Work or Claude Code.

Use my key in the X-API-Key header.

Start here:
GET https://pub-api.leadtruffle.com/api/v1/pub/leads

Please do all of the work for me. Write and run any scripts you need. Do not give me coding instructions.

Pull every lead from the last 30 days. There may be more than one page. Keep going until you have all of them.

Use GET requests only. Do not change anything in LeadTruffle.

Review the leads, messages, call summaries, and full call transcripts.

Make a simple report that tells me:

1. How many leads and calls you reviewed.
2. How many people seemed ready to book.
3. Which calls went well.
4. Which calls went badly and why.
5. Which good leads did not book.
6. Who should be followed up with first.
7. The five biggest things we should improve.

Use plain English. Show short examples from the calls when helpful.

Save the report in the LeadTruffle Reports folder and also show me a short summary here.

Start now.


Keep your API key private. Anyone who has it can read your LeadTruffle data. If you think it's been shared, delete it on the API keys page and create a new one.



Step 4: Let it work


  • The assistant may ask for permission to run a script or connect to LeadTruffle. Click Allow, Approve, or Run.
  • It may take several minutes to read all of your leads and calls.
  • When it finishes, you'll get a report saved in your LeadTruffle Reports folder, plus a short summary on screen.



Ask more questions


Once the report is done, you can keep asking in plain English. For example:


  • "Which employee needs the most coaching?"
  • "Show me the 10 best leads that didn't book."
  • "Which lead source gave us the worst calls?"
  • "What mistakes are costing us the most money?"
  • "Make this report easier to share with my team."



Troubleshooting


It gives you coding instructions


You opened the wrong mode.


  • In ChatGPT, click Work, then choose Work locally.
  • In Claude, click Code, then choose Local.


Then paste the message again.


It only reviewed 10 leads


Paste this:


You only read the first page. Keep loading every page until you have all leads from the last 30 days. Then redo the report.


It says the key is wrong


Open LeadTruffle API keys, create a new key, and try again.
